Tough Act To Follow

Time to drop a prophecy like bombs on my enemies
One mean dog against a more then equal adversary
Top of the ladder you're gonna fall, hit, splatter
Grab your weapons and battle on your knees
The only way to win is if you pray to God that you'll make it
Bloodshed and violence begin to fill these streets
Hold tight to that bassball bat because tonight, out come the goollies
How do you change sight when you can't pull your eyes out?
Random acts of heartache spew onto the floor
Spill the beans and push the botton and watch what happens
Pull that trigger and watch as mischeif reaches its peak
Nobody knows hatred like I know hatred
And no one knows like rage like I know rage
You people don't realize the power you hold in your hands
Nothing about this has to be pure or good
Who said that because I live free I'll let the rest go?
Harboring for the first time in my chest true forgiveness
Rememeber back in the day when I told you the story,
Of when I was a small boy battling demons all night long?
Yet today when I see you struggling and I offer an answer
You call me a begot and let me know I don't understand
Sour tastes fill my mouth as I hold back vengence
Pressing hard agasint the handle of that gun behind my stone cold corpse
Rest in peace sucka as I blast you into oblivion
But maybe, just maybe I could just smile and take the walk back
Holding it all in and storing it up to use on another day
It's a tough act buddy, trying to follow a guy who holds your fate in his hands
You want the power and the respect
Laughing at the bitch because I know that I need neither
For I'm the one who keeps your life and you don't even know it
