Once I turned the color of war

Hatred consumed me

There was no light only a red dawn

Where blood dripped down

On the faces of the angels I destroied

Pulling out my hair

My face was the color of vengence

Regret and rage where my only options

Kill or be killed is what I lived by

As the crimson liquid covered my hands

Holding my broken heart and anothers

I ripped theirs out and tried to make them my own

But now that time is over

And my heart is once again mine

Freedom returned and the anger subsides

Those eyes which once held tears gave way

So I let a new better one inside

She is the one

And for etenity I could write this

Everyday I sing a love song for you

Made out of everything I hold

Holding to the memories of the goodtimes now

No more bad only good seeps through

Loving you more each day

You are the light in the darkness of my soul

Now you turn red as I look to you

Embracing you I look back to you and your eyes

Keeping that gaze forever and a day

Now I have someone who I can turn to
